I am off on a long trip. I am headed to Philadelphia for not one but two conferences. The first is NSTA (National Science Teacher Association). My school is in the works to become a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math school. STEM for short. The other conference is National Association of Research in Science Teaching or NARST. I am a presenter at this conference. A CSU professor and I wrote a paper together and we were invited to present some of our findings. We are also presenting a new study that we are working on called Symbolic interaction-ism and scientific communication in elementary school science. I am excited to be going and learning as much as possible.
